Do you have a waitlist:

We are currently at capacity for the summer months, but get on our waitlist in case an opening occurs. We are taking applicants for September and will be conducting intakes late August.

How do I register:

Fill out this form in order to get on our waitlist for an intake assessment.  https://forms.gle/SnVTrCS3buxcbqHy5

Our Director will call you mid-August to schedule a free 15-30 minute video intake.

Intake assessment:

An intake assessment is the first step of registration.  It is typically a 15-30 minute zoom call, whereby we can observe your child.  If your child is verbal, we will ask him/her some questions to get a sense of language and communication skills.  If your child is non-verbal, we may try to engage by showing some preferred activities on the screen.  If your child has never been on a screen before and is unable to participate, we will conduct the intake assessment by asking parents critical questions about language, communication, and goals.

Programming:

The intake assessment gives us crucial information about your child’s language and communication skills.  It also gives us an opportunity to talk to you, as a parent, to find out what your goals for your child are.  From this initial meeting, we put together a rough program outline that will give us the basis of where to start ABA programming.   Once registered, you will receive an overview of our program plan.  When your child begins with us, we will test your child on this program plan and make necessary adjustments accordingly.

Assessment:

If your child is receiving formal ABA therapy, within 1-2 months of your child’s start date, we will conduct a standard ABA assessment (e.g., ABLLS-R or VBMAPP).  This is included in your therapy fees.  This formal assessment is typically updated at least once every 6 months.

Communication:

We communicate with parents via online communication books.  Due to COVID-19 protocols we’ve been forced to limit in-person interactions.  However, we are always happy to talk over the phone, email, or zoom.

Observation:

We have an open-door policy. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, any and all observations of your child will be arranged virtually.
